Care & Maintenance

J.P.L.C.® products are designed and built to last a lifetime and beyond. The leather and canvas that we use are premium materials that are highly crafted and engineered by the respective tanners and weavers that make them. They will age beautifully.

If you dirty your item, simply wipe it down with a damp cloth. Once dry, you can apply conditioners to our leathers, but it is not essential.

We stand behind our product; if for any reason your item is damaged, please contact us for advice on return and repair. We will do everything we can to ensure you are satisfied.

Leather and Canvas

Our Horween leather is a full-grain aniline which shows all the natural characteristics of the hide. Any marks or imperfections are indicative of the natural beauty of the skin. Horween uses traditional oils, stains, fats, and finishes that may become mobile when damp.

Our canvas is from Scotland: 21 oz, lightly-waxed, and used by the British military.

With both leather and canvas, please take care if you are wearing light colors, as colors may transfer.
